These Goldstone heart/leaves are almost done

I am finishing up the backs of these pieces. There were some challenges with these caused by trapped air bubbles but I think they turned out pretty neat. I am considering making more similar to these using different stones and also with Goldstone. I will most likely use undrilled stones instead of beads for a less innterupted look and to minimize air bubbles.

An acrylic skin is simply a sheet dried acrylic paint and or acrylic mediums. I first became interested in their usefulness because I dislike wasting paint. I often use the dried paint off my pallet for other projects. Continue reading “Sometimes I like to wear my acrylic paint as jewelry”
