I have recently developed an obsession with circular components. The simple shape of the circle has much to offer in aesthetic and if your into it in metaphor as well.
This is a box of circular components I have already in progress To go around in a circle is not necessarily a waste of time. Think about it as exploring all that particular loop has to offer. Consider a hiking trail around a lake. You may hike the entire circuit and be content to never visit that trail again. Or what you find there may engage you so much that you return every chance you get. In my current work I am exploring circles in the forms of flat rounds, cabochons, donuts, and spheres. As well as the relationship between the aesthetics of the circle and the ideas that come around and back around as I work with them.
