Happy chaos

Things here at one Canvas At A Time are going to be a little stranger than normal until mid September.
I am working on some paintings that I am really excited about. They are slated as gifts for an early September wedding so I must be vague lest the bride read my blog and spoil the surprise. She knows she’s getting paintings, but I don’t want the betrothed couple to see them until they are on their gift table ready to be unwrapped.  There is still plenty to talk about until then. I’m reworking an old dress to wear to the same early September wedding, as a brides maid. I haven’t sewn in years but I am really going to enjoy making an old favorite new again.
